The transition to parenthood isn’t always what we expect.

Pregnancy and early parenthood can bring joy, but they can also bring anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and experiences you never expected. You may be struggling to enjoy your pregnancy, or feeling disconnected after your baby is born. You might be replaying a difficult birth, grieving a loss, or navigating the uncertainty of fertility treatment.

Whatever you’re experiencing, you don’t have to go through it alone.

As a psychologist with advanced training and certification in perinatal mental health, I specialize in supporting individuals through the emotional challenges of growing a family. My goal is to provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where you feel understood and supported as we work toward healing together.

I Commonly Help With

  • Pregnancy and postpartum anxiety, depression, and adjustment
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Birth trauma, medical trauma, trauma histories, NICU experiences
  • Fertility challenges
  • Pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and termination for medical reasons (TFMR)
  • Identity changes and the transition to parenthood
  • Family-building journeys, including fertility treatment, adoption, surrogacy, donor conception, LGBTQ+ family building, and single parenthood by choice
  • Navigating the impact of culture, family expectations, religion, and identity on the perinatal experience

My Approach

Treatment is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s contributing to your distress, develop effective coping strategies, and help you feel more like yourself again. When appropriate, I also incorporate trauma-focused approaches to help process difficult experiences such as birth trauma or pregnancy loss.

All sessions are offered securely by video for clients throughout California and Florida, making it easier to access support during pregnancy and early parenthood.
